Among the fundamental matters is the role and impact of Arabic sciences on deducing legal rulings and jurisprudential principles in general. This influence extends to every jurist and scholar of Islamic jurisprudence. However, in this article, we aim to specifically discuss issues raised by His Eminence Muhammad Saʿīd al-Ḥakīm the necessity of understanding Arabic sciences in the fields of jurisprudence and principles in a general sense. Then, we examine examples of literary issues mentioned by the esteemed researcher in jurisprudence and principles, along with comments, criticisms, and evaluations benefitting from divine assistance.
